Born Sept. 25, 1926, in South Connellsville to Ralph and Anna (Robertson) Bluebaugh. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Howard Firestone; brother, John; and sister Emily Iser, whose children are Mary Ann Iser, Somerset; David Iser, married to Tina of Hartford, Conn., whose children are Zachery and Juliana; Heidi St. Germain, Hartford, whose children are Daniel and Christopher; and brother-in-law Clifford Iser, Hartford. She had one daughter, Carol, married to Jack Bowman, Stoystown, whose children are David Allgood, married to the former Jessica Bowers, Somerset, whose children are David Bryon, Dakota James, Sharon Carol and Sierra Page; Charles, married to Angela Hoover, Dover; and Melissa Bishop, married to Stephen, whose children are Abigail Rose and Elizabeth Grace. She has four stepchildren, Irene, married to Frank Bendik, Uniontown; Nancy Sleasman, married to Ronald, Rockwood, whose daughter is Sarah; Sandra Spoerlein, married to Randall, Somerset, whose children are Randall Jr.; and Donna, married to Paul Jano, whose children are Paul Jr., Elijah and Kaitlyn; and John Stoner Jr., married to the former Linda Spoerlein, Somerset. She graduated from Connellsville High School with the class of 1944. She was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Rockwood where she taught children's classes for many years. She was a charter member of the Rockwood Historical and Genealogical Society and was a past officer of the Rockwood Women's Club. She was also an auxiliary member of the Somerset Camp of the Gideons International for many years and was a past president and served in other offices. She and her husband spent years traveling worldwide, visiting 52 different countries. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Kenneth Davis officiating.
