    July 30, 1916 - April 8, 2006 
  
    Robert P. Stotler, 89, of Cumberland, MD died Saturday, April 8, 2006 at the Lions
  Manor Nursing Home.   Born July 30, 1916 in Meyersdale, Robert was the son of the late
  Frank and Mary Theresa (Fallon) Stotler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
  death by his first wife, Gloria Bolden; one sister, Nellie Dodds; and one brother,
  Raymond Stotler.
     He is survived by his wife, Doris (McFarland) Stotler, Cumberland, MD; two step-sons,
  Alan Finzel, West Plains, MO; and Dennis Finzel, Fort Ashby, WVA; two sisters, Mildred
  Griffith, Uniontown; and Marguerite Miller, Pittsburgh.
     Mr. Stotler was a retired Pharmacist and was owner/operator of the LaVale Pharmacy. He
  was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II and was a charter member of the LaVale Lions Club.   Mr.
  Stotler was cremated in accordance to his wishes.
     A memorial service was held at the Durst Funeral Home P.A. 57, Frostburg, on April 10,
  2006 with the Rev. T. William Preston officiating. The LaVale Lions Club conducted a
  memorial service during the funeral services. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
