Stoughton, 77, Jennerstown, died Aug. 5, 1986, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Sept. 21, 1908, in Meyersdale, son of Robert A. and Edith (Maurer) Stoughton. Preceded in death by parents; brother, James Black Stoughton, who died June 30, 1972. Survived by widow, Lucille; sister Louise Stoughton Maust; sister-in-law, Teresa M. Stoughton; nephews and nieces: Joan M., wife of Earl D. Gipson; Lewis G. Maust, James R. Maust, Teresa A. and Mary Louise Stoughton, all of Jennerstown area. Long-time member of Somerset Community Hospital Board of Directors and Laurel Highlands Board of Directors. Long-time chairman of Somerset County Planning Commission. Founder and owner of Stoughton Lakes. Major in Army Air Corps during World War II. Service at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, with the Rev. Joseph M.
