(Mullane) Stoughton, 68, Stoughton Lake, Jennerstown, died Jan. 6, 1995, at Conemaugh hospital. Born Aug. 17, 1926, in Pittsburgh, daughter of Daniel F. and Helen (Goodwin) Mullane. Preceded in death by parents; husband, James B., who died in 1972, and sister, Harriet Clay, who died in 1984. Survived by daughters: Teresa Stoughton, wife of Matthew Marafino, Green Gables, Jennerstown, and Mary Louise Stoughton, wife of Charles Miller, Los Angeles, Calif.; grandchildren: Elizabeth and James Marafino. Member of Mt. Laurel Church of Christ, near Gray, and Friday Club of Greensburg. A high school graduate of Winchester-Thurston School, Pittsburgh. Earned bachelor of science degree from Mt. Holyoke College, Holyoke, Mass., and master's degree in architecture from the Harvard School of Design. Operated Green Gables Restaurant and the Mountain Playhouse for many years. Designed Tuscany Room at Green Gables and Mr. Laurel United Church of Christ and other area architectural projects. Private family viewing at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell. Friends and family are invited to service at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Mr. Laurel Church, the Rev. Joseph M. Beer, officiating. Interment Jenner Crossroads Cemetery followed by reception at Green Gables. Flowers may be delivered Monday morning to the funeral home, church, or Green Gables.
