Stought, 77, of West Sanner St., Somerset, died July 16, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Jan. 19, 1897, in Helena, Mont., a son of the late Dr. Henry Clay and Mary Shaw Stout. He is survived by his wife, the former Pricilla Milleton Walford; a son, William M. Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren; a brother John Merrill Stout of Philadelphia; and a sister, Mrs. Miriam Milligan of Preston, Md. Member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, American Legion, Duquesne Lodge No. 546 F. and A.M., Pittsburgh Consistory, Syria Temple, Pittsburgh Athletic Association, Somerset County Shrine Club and the Somerset County Club. A veteran of World War I., he was retired from American Hardware Co. of Pittsburgh, where he had served as president. Friends received after 3 p.m. Thursday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Carl Hull officiating. Interment Friday in the Dunmore Cemetery, Dunmore, Lackawana County.
