Stoy, 74, of Rockwood RD 3, died March 29, 1983, in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born May 18, 1908, in Somerset, a son of William R. and Daryle (Stahl) Stoy. He is survived by his wife, Thelma (Whipkey) Stoy, of Rockwood RD 3; four brothers, Charles K., Somerset RD 1; John C., and Park C., both of Somerset; and Rufus M., of Cayman Islands. His death terminates a marriage union of 38 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a member of Casselman United Methodist Church where he served as a trustee. He was a member of the adult Bible Class; Trent Rod and Gun Club; the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1801, Somerset.
