  STOY
  
  Verda I. Stoy, 91, of Somerset, passed on May 22, 2003 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 11, 1912 in Stonycreek Township.  Daughter of
  the late Wesley G. and Sadie (Platt) Walker.  She is preceded in
  death by her husband, John C. Stoy Sr. in 2000; sisters, Elsie
  Watkins and Evelyn Schrock and brothers, Earl, Guy, Richard and Roy
  Walker.  She is survived by her children: John Jr. married to
  Patricia (Blank) of Somerset; Robert W. married to Mary (Berkeley) of
  Fairfax, Va., Jane A. Stoy of Somerset and James M. married to Heather
  (Brown) of Somerset; nine grandchildren and nine
  great-grandchildren.  She is the sister of Grace Trent of Somerset
  and Ferne Schrock of Berlin.  She was a past member of the Daughters
  of the American Revolution and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in
  Somerset where she participated in the Altar Guild and the Bykota
  Circle Group.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset.  A
  service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church. 
  Interment at Somerset County Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions
  may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church at 918 Tayman Ave. Somerset,
  Pa.  15501.
