   Gazella Emaline Strandquest, 93, Somerset, died on October 16, 2006 at her home. Born
  August 11, 1913 in Somerset Twp., a daughter of John and Mabel (Walker) Winters. Preceded
  in death by her parents and a sister, Myrtle Winters.  Survived by her daughter, Dorie
  married to Lynn Lambert, Somerset; these grandchildren: Kathleen Sontag, Jolee Brendle,
  Jesse Lee, Sharon Atchison, and Shawnya Lambert; great grandchildren: Jenna Atchison,
  Jeremy Baker, Julia Sontag, and Lauren Lambert; and great great grandchildren: Kayleigh
  Baker, Jeremy Baker II, and Alexander Lee. She was a graduate of Somerset High School.
  She was a telephone operator for GTE, Somerset for 39 years. She was a member of
  Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren and also attended Berlin Brethren Church. She is
  dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. At the request of the
  family, visitation will be private. Funeral service was held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the
  Berlin Brethren Church, Pastors Eugene Oburn, Owen Preston, and Tom Sprowls, Jr.
  officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to either
  the Berlin Brethren Church, 620 Main St., Berlin, Pa. 15530 or the Brothersvalley Church
  of the Brethren, 7699 Glades Pike, Berlin, Pa. 15530.
