  STRASISER
  
    Evelyn M. Strasiser, 88, of Kantner, died March 15, 1997, at
  Patriot Manor, Somerset.  Born Aug. 5, 1908, in Hooversville,
  daughter of Irvin and Minnie (Berkebile) Eash.  Preceded in death by
  parents; sisters: Ruby Meyers and Gladys Stumbaugh; stepsisters:
  Luella Umberger, Violet Shuey, and Vivian Adams, and stepbrother,
  Earl Klinger.  Survived by husband of 61 years, Tony Jr., and these
  children: Roberta, married to C. Herbert Klinepeter, Chambersburg,
  and Carl, married to the former Janie Zelenok, Hooversville. 
  Grandchildren: Carlynn Evans, Roslynn Kaltenbaugh, Tony and Stacy
  Strasiser, and Jenne Mae Klinepeter.  Great-grandchildren: Lindsey
  and Kara Evans, Max and Tony Strasiser.  Also a stepbrother, George
  Klinger, Tower City.  Member of Kantner United Methodist Church and
  Forbes Area Senior Citizens.  Family will receive friends from 4 to 8
  p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing from 1 p.m.
  until service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kantner U.M. Church, Rev. Jason
  McQueen.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.  Instead of
  flowers, memorials may be given to Kantner U.M. Church Building Fund.
