    Tony A. Strasiser Jr., 83, Kantner, died May 29, 1999 at home. 
  Born June 8, 1915, in Davis, W. Va., son of Slovenian parents Tony
  Sr. and Jennie (Sernel) Strasiser.  Preceded in death by parents, and
  his wife, the former Evelyn Eash.  Survived by daughter, Roberta,
  married to Herbert Klinepeter, Chambersburg; and son, Carl, married
  to the former Janie Zelenok, Hooversville; grandchildren: Carlynn
  Evans, Roslynn Kaltenbaugh, Tony and Stacy Strasiser and Jene Mae
  Klinepeter; great-grandchildren: Lindsey and Kara Evans, Max, Tony
  and Gus Strasiser.  Brother of: Mary, married to A.J. Lephart,
  Somerset; Julia, widow of Gene Carter, South Whitley, Ind.; Mollie,
  married to Harry Naymick, Uniontown; Jennie, widow of Donald Selby,
  Akron, Ohio; and Frank, married to the former Aletta Dixon,
  Stoystown.  Retired coal miner and carpenter.  Member of Kantner
  United Methodist Church, Forbes Area Senior Citizens, Western
  Slavonic Association, Denver, Colo., and U.M.W.A.  Charter-member of
  Stoystown Historical Society.  Family will receive friends from 4-8
  p.m. Tuesday (today) at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing from
  10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kantner U.M. Church,
  with the Rev. Jason McQueen officiating.  Interment, Odd-Fellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.  Instead of flowers, contributions may be given
  to Kantner U.M. Building Fund, P.O. Box 322, Stoystown, PA. 15563.
