  Mrs. Besse Mae Straub, 90, of Somerset, died Feb. 6, 1978 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born April 29, 1887 in Somerset, the daughter of
  Adam H. and Florence Mae (Kieffer) Buelman.  Preceded in death by
  husband, Dr. Theodore Straub, and brother John.  Survived by a
  daughter, Mrs. Harold (Adeleen) Schrock of Johnstown and these
  grandchildren: Dr. Theodore Schrock, Steamboat Springs, Colo.; Mrs.
  William Thwing, Alberta, Canada; and William H. Schrock of
  Pittsburgh.  Also two great-grandchildren, Michael and Jenny
  Thwing.  Life-long resident of Somerset, member of First Christian
  Church, Somerset, and Trinity Chapter O.E.S.  Charter member of
  Somerset Garden Club, charter member of Somerset County Club and
  served on board of Children's Aid Society for many years.  Family
  will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where private services will be
  conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Paul Weber officiating. 
  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  Family requests in lieu of flowers,
  contributions may be made to Children's Aid Society, Somerset.
