  STRAUCH
  
    John T. Strauch, 80, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and Meyersdale,
  Pa., passed away Sept. 2, 1998, in Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center,
  Fla.  Survived by wife, Eleanor (Sweitzer) Darr Strauch, and a son,
  Neil Strauch; a sister, Helen Bonner, Toms River, N.J., and several
  nieces and nephews.  Retired police officer in New York City. 
  Viewing will be held Monday at Royal Palm Funeral Home, West Palm
  Beach, Fla., where service will be held Tuesday.
