Strelko, 90, of Stoystown, died Feb. 8, 1998, at home. Born May 6, 1907, in Cambria County. Son of John and Mary (Pajak) Strelko. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Helen Pisarcik, Mary Brougher and Anna Mezack; brothers, Frank Benko and Thomas Strelko. Survived by wife of 59 years, the former Mary Gorska, and these children: Mrs. Michael (Mary Ann) Babuschak, Seward; Mrs. Edward (June Marie) Forrest, Gloucester Point, Va.; John T. Jr., Florida, and Edward, Shanksville; also 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and brother, Peter Strelko, Somerset. Retired coal miner. Former Quemahoning Township supervisor. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where wake service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Rev. Romulus Rosolowski, OFM Conv. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
