Strickler, 66, of Acosta, died May 20, 1975, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Oct. 26, 1908, in Uniontown. He is survived by his wife, the former Neva Blair; and these children: George Jr., Pittsburgh; Mrs. Violet Koba, Chicago, Ill.; Robert, North Springs, Iowa; and Glenn, Acosta; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four brothers and three sisters. He was a retired coal miner and a retired PennDot foreman, member of Jenner Rod and Gun Club. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. today in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, 2 p.m., in the Boswell Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Fred M. Bennett officiating. Interment, Beams Cemetery.
