"Joker" Stroad, 74, of East Freedom, Pa., died Thursday evening, May 1, 1975, in the Bedford County Memorial Hospital. Born May 25, 1900, in Kentucky. Survived by five nieces and one nephew. Mr. Stroad owned and operated a tavern in East Freedom for a number of years. Member of the Riverton Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons, Arkansas City, Arkansas, Nemesis Temple, Parkersburg, W. Va., and the Scottich Rite, Wheeling, W. Va. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the Louis Geisel Funeral Home in Bedford where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev.
