  Strobeck, Anna Ruth Cowher  10/14/05  Daily American
  
  Anna Ruth Cowher Strobeck, 86, died Oct. 10, 2005, in Alexandria, Va. Born Aug.
  21, 1919, in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late Thomas and Henrietta Lape
  Cowher. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth Cowher and
  sisters, Kathryn Shaffer. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She
  graduated from Somerset High School, class of 1937. She was a member of the
  Farlington United Methodist Church in Arlington, Va. She was a federal employee
  working at the Pentagon for 33 years, retiring in 1982. Arrangements are being
  provided by Arlington Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m.
  Oct. 29 at the Husband Cemetery, Felgar Road, Somerset. Charles, LCMS will
  officiate.
