Pleasant, died Thursday, March 25, 1982, at Weatmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Born Aug. 21, 1896, in Bakersville, a daughter of the late David P. and Christana (Beck) Shaulis. Member of Zion's Lutheran Church, Greensburg, where she was also a member of the Lutheran Church Women. Preceded in death by husband, Jacob E. Strohm, in 1965, and five brothers, Harry, Homer, Lloyd, Simon and Walter Shaulis. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Goldie) Miller, Greensburg, and Mrs. Walter (LaRue) Jordan of Granville, Mass.; six grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Friends received in the Barnhart Funeral Home, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday.
