  Charles E. Stufft, 64, of Friedens died July 5, 1976 in residence. 
  Born August 17, 1911 in Stoystown.  Son of Daniel G. and Carrie E.
  Bowman Stufft.  Preceded in death by parents and one step-daughter. 
  Survived by widow, the former Hazel Thomas and the following
  children: Vernon Yoder, Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Michael (Jackie)
  McKinley, Friedens RD 2; Lori at home, two grandsons and one
  granddaughter.  Brother of Mrs. Anna C. Lehman, Silver Spring, Md.;
  Mrs. Carl (Blanche) Landis, North Huntingdon.  Member of Grace
  Lutheran Church, Stoystown, Friedens Volunteer Fire Company, and
  Stoystown Lions Club. Sales Manager for Summit Machinery Inc.,
  Somerset.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 3-5
  and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home in
  Stoystown.  Remains will be removed to Grace Lutheran Church,
  Stoystown to lie in state from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m.
  Thursday.  The Rev. Herbert G. Hofman officiating.  Interment, Odd
  Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
