She was born Feb. 18, 1914, in McKeesport, the daughter of the late William and Margaret Mae (Culbert) Rader and the wife of the late Charles R. Sturni. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Rader and an infant brother. She is survived by sons, Wade (Barbara Howell) Sturni, Elizabeth Township; and Lance (Suzanne Parmiter Opfar) Sturni, Somerset; grandchildren, Donald C. (Sharon Isreal) McGowan, Fredericksburg, Va.; Kelley S. (William) Keane, Peters Township; Jonathan A. (Patti Jo Nelson) Opfar, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C.; great-grand- children, Serena and Olivia McGowen and Tyler P. and Kyle S. Keane. A lifetime member and elder of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church and also a member of the Women's Association. A member of the Twentieth Century Club of McKeesport and past president of the Elizabeth-Forward American Field Service. Mrs. Sturni was instrumental in establishing the school lunch program for the Elizabeth Forward School District. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Parlor of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth Township, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. William K. Little, officiating. Everyone please meet at the church. Interment will follow in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Library Guild at Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church, 1000 Greenock Buena Vista Road, McKeesport, PA 15135.
