  Daniel Edison Sturtz, 75, Stoystown RD 2, died March 7, 1986 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March 16, 1910 in Sand Patch, son
  of the late Cyrus and Mabel (Shumaker) Sturtz.  Survived by wife,
  former Viola Lantz; and these children: Mrs. Charles (Betty) Wright,
  Manns Choice; Harold Charles, Meyersdale RD 3; and William Franklin,
  married to former Ruth Jones, Friedens RD 1; 12 grandchildren and 25
  great grandchildren.  Brother of: John, Raymond and Wilbert, all of
  Stoystown RD 3; Cletus, Hooversville RD 1; Cyrus, Cresaptown, Md.;
  William, Frederick, Md.; Mrs. Clyde (Mary) Deem, Berlin; Mrs. William
  (Blanche) Peterman, Berlin RD 1; and Mrs. Harold (Julia) Bridges,
  Ohio.  Retired employee of B&O Railroad.  Member of Brotherhood of
  Maintenance of Way Employees.  Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m.
  Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday.  Interment,
  Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glencoe.
