STURTZ Elmer Clayton Sturtz, 75, of Wellersburg, died Saturday, June 24, 1972 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. Born in Wellersburg June 6, 1897, he was a son of the late Hiram and Drusilla (Witt) Sturtz. He was a member of Wellersburg United Church of Christ and was a retired employee of Kelly Springfield Tire Co. He was also a member URRA Local 26, and was an army veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kathryn (Nicholson) Sturtz, two brothers, Harry Sturtz, Chambersburg; and Carl Sturtz, Wellersburg; a stepson, Don R. Andrews, LaVale, Md.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Catherine Long, Ridgeley, W.Va.; and four grandchildren. Funeral service was conducted in Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, Tuesday morning, with Rev.
