  FLORENCE E. STURTZ
  
    Florence E. Sturtz, 85, of Calla Hill, formerly of Wellersburg,
  died March 22, 1988 at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. 
    She was born June 15, 1902 in Southampton Township, Somerset
  County, daughter of the late Frank and Susan (Emerick) Kennell.
    She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Barrelville Outdoor
  Club.  Her husband, George R. Sturtz, died Aug. 5, 1962.
    Surviving are three sons: Raymond Sturtz, Hyndman; John Sturtz,
  Wellersburg; and Herbert Sturtz, Ellerslie, Md.; two daughters: Verna
  Raley, Meyersdale RD 3; and Goldie Getson, Mount Savage, Md.; one
  brother, Jesse Kennell, Hyndman RD 1; two sisters: Naomia Emerick,
  Hyndman RD 1; and Edna Deneen, Central City; 15 grandchildren and 28
  great grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home,
  Hyndman, where services were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. by the Rev.
  Ken L. Korns.
