She was born Jan. 12, 1926, in Jerome, daughter of the late Clarence and Theora (Shaffer) Holsopple. On June 23, 1944, in Cumberland, she married Cyrus Sturtz, and he survives along with the following children, Roger Sturtz, Boiling Springs; Gloria Sturtz, Manns Choice; Charles Ogline, Idaho; four grandchildren, Amy, Lisa, Richard and Sheila; two brothers, Kenneth Holsopple and wife, Josephine, Hooversville; William Holsopple and wife, Millie, Windber; and two sisters, Romaine, wife of Robert Heckler, and Wilma, wife of Milton Black, both of Hooversville. She was a member of the Manns Choice Church of God and did volunteer work as a nurse's aid at Sacred Heart and Memorial Hospital in Cumberland and also a UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She did office work for Montgomery Ward and the Credit Bureau in Cumberland and worked for GAF Photo Lab in Pittsburgh delivering film to Cumberland, Frostburg, Oakland and Keyser driving more than 100 miles per day. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, Bedford, and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Manns Choice Church of God, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Richard Whetstone officiating.
