Born January 15, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan. She was preceded in death by husbands: Carl Warnick and Elwood Sturtz, and daughters: Vanessa Clark and Pearl Kessler and sons: Westley Thomas, Paul, and Vernie Warnick. She is survived by sons: Luther Warnick, of Garrett; and Norman Warnick, of Waynesburg; and daughters: Margaret Marion, of Cumberland, Md.; Marie Yutzy, of Florida; Kathryn Galen and Carla Hemminger, both of Hancock, Md., Connie Sturtz, of Kill Devil Hills, NC, and Valerie Higgins, of Horsham. Also survived by 46 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where a funeral service was held Monday at 2 p.m. Interment in Frostburg Memorial Park.
