"Bozo" Sturtz, 67, of Wellersburg Road, died Wednesday, July 18, 1990 at his residence. He was born Oct. 23, 1924 in Wellersburg, son of the late Ralph S. and Lavada (Troutman) Sturtz. He was a former employee of the Kelly Springfield Tire Company and attended Zion Lutheran Reformed Church, Wellersburg. He served in the Army in World War II and was a member of Local 26 United Rubber Workers; Henry Hart Post 1411, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Cumberland, Md.; and the Barrelville Outdoor Club. He is survived by his widow, Goldie (Baker) Sturtz; two sons, Robert L. Sturtz, Frederick, Md.; Dale L. Sturtz, RD 1, Mount Savage, Md.; two sisters, Alverda Spataro, Morgantown, W.Va.; Violet Skinner, Mount Savage, Md.; and one granddaughter. Friends were received at Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, Md., where services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Thomas E. Young Jr. Interment, Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
