Stutzman, beloved wife, sister, friend, 54, of Berlin, passed on July 1, 2003, at home surrounded by family and friends. Born June 2, 1949, in Jenners, she was the daughter of Bernard and Verna (Pishko) Panek. Preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Panek. Survived by her husband of 34 years, Donald J. Stutzman; children, Wendy, married to Ryan Simmons, recently of Johnson City, Tenn.; Bradley, married to the former Jodi Irwin; Clarion; and Katherine, at home; grandchildren: Caleb and Aaron Simmons; and Amber, Haley and Cole Stutzman; sister of Dr. Bernard Panek, John Panek, Steven Panek, all of Johnstown; and Mary Ann Spangler, Salix. She was a pharmacy technician and unit secretary at Somerset Hospital. She was a member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Macdonaldton; Berlin Ladies Auxiliary; a former 4-H leader; and was a graduate of the former Jenner-Boswell High School, Class of 1967. She was devoted to her family, friends, and community. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin and, with a Vigil for the deceased Wednesday evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Macdonaldton, with Rev. James M. Dugan officiating. Committal in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell.
