  STUTZMAN
  
    Bruce N. Stutzman, 87, Berlin RD 1, died Dec. 25, 1989, at his
  home.  Born May 30, 1902, in Somerset County, son of Sadie Awtey. 
  Preceded in death by his mother; his wife, the former Nellie
  Zearfoss; daughters: Esther Shank and Shirley Heist; infant son,
  Vernon Lee; grandson, Barry; brothers, Wilbur Awtey and Paul Stutzman
  and sister, Susan Yoder.  Survived by these children: Grace E. Bethel,
  Berlin RD 1; Bruce M., married to the former Vicki Pangborn,
  Lewisburg; Wayne, married to the former Mildred Yothers, Somerset RD
  6; Mrs. C. Dean (Hazel) Swank, Somerset RD 8; 14 grandchildren; 34
  great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.  He was a
  retired Somerset County coal miner; a member of Brothersvalley Church
  of the Brethren and former caretaker of the church and cemetery for 40
  years.  Member of UMWA.  Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today
  and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. 
  Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Friday at
  Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren, the Revs. Kenneth Davis and
  Roger Forry officiating.  Interment, Pike Cemetery, Brotherton. 
  Memorial contributions may be given to Somerset Hospital's "In-Touch"
  Hospice Program.
