Dwight Stutzman, 87, Ligonier, "the Rawleigh Man," died Monday, May 4, 1998 at his home. Born April 12, 1911, in Mineral Point. The son of Charles Steven and Alice Lodemia (Mack) Stutzman, he recently marked his 60th anniversary as the Rawleigh dealer in Ligonier Valley and Somerset County. Member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, past trustee and Sunday school superintendent. He was also a member of the St. James Cemetery Association in Boswell and a member of the Ligonier Firemen Police Auxiliary. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Catharine Elizabeth Blough Stutzman; a son, Charles William; and a daughter, Alice Nettie; a son in law, Regis (Ozz) Campbell; his brothers, Harold and Merle; his sisters, Nan and Grace and a grandson, Raymond Stutzman. Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Campbell of Laughlintown and Karen McCullough (and husband, William) of Greensburg; and a son, Robert (and wife, Carolyn) of Latrobe. Additionally he is survived by a daughter-in-law, Rosalie Almedia Stutzman of Seymour, Tenn. There are 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the McCabe Funeral Home, 244 W. Main St., Ligonier. Visiting hours will be 7-9 Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 Wednesday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. James Lutheran Church, 308 W. Main St., Ligonier, with the Rev. William Oesterlin officiating. Interment, St. James Cemetery, Boswell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make memorial contributions to the Ligonier Valley Memorial Association or to the St. James Lutheran Church Building Fund.
