  STUTZMAN
  
  Merle L. Stutzman, 86, of Saw Mill Run Road, Somerset, formerly of
  Johnstown, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, at home.  Born Oct. 19, 1914,
  in Elton, son of Elmer and Goldie (Fritz) Stutzman.  Preceded in
  death by parents; 16 brothers, sisters, stepbrothers and
  stepsisters.  Survived by his wife of 61 years, the former Miriam
  Hampton, and these children: Mina and Lorinda Stutzman, both at home;
  Merle L. Jr., married to the former Sandra Kay Mitchell of Acme;
  grandchildren, Jessica Lee of Ronks; Aaron Michael of State College;
  Jonathan David and Taylor Christian, both of Acme.  Retired from
  Local 66 International Union of Operating Engineers.  Member of
  Somerset Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and Altoona Lodge
  F. and A.M.  Family will receive friends at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  The Rev. James E. Vandervort
  officiating.  Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
