Stutzman, 92, Somerset RD 5, died Oct. 23, 1976, at his residence. Born Sept. 12, 1884 in Somerset Township, a son of Jonas and Sarah Rhoads Stutzman. Survived by his widow, the former Vera Trent and these children: Clyde, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Edith Eicher and Mrs. Orville (Erma) Boyd, both of Somerset; Dwight of Indiana, Pa.; Mrs. Kenneth (Fern) Beers, Marysville, Pa.; Mrs. Paul (Peg) Sipe, Mercer and Mrs. Fred (Gazella) Gross, Somerset RD 5; 29 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren five great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by sons Ray and Jacob and a daughter, Mrs. Alta Spangler; two brothers and seven sisters. Was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church and a former Somerset Township road supervisor. Death ended a marriage of 72 years. Friends are being received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Faith Lutheran Church with the Rev. Charles Hartbauer officiating. Interment Will Church Cemetery. Body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service. Daily American, October 25, 1976 [S3278]
