Stutzman, 74, of Somerset passed away Oct. 22, 2000 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born May 27, 1926 in Friedens, son of the late Fred and Pauline (Albright) Stutzman. Preceded in death by stepfather Elmer Lint. Survived by wife, Mary Jane (Hartzell) Stutzman. His passing ends a marriage union of 50 years. Also survived by daughters, Patricia, married to Pat Herring, Cinda, married to Craig Stutzman, Barbara, married to Craig Miller, and Billie, married to Jim Sujanksy, all of Somerset; grandchildren, Patrick and Eddie Herring, Adam, married to Keri Shaffer, Ben and Mollie Stutzman, Mindy, Cassie, and Luke Miller, and Sam, Steve, Simon and Sadie Sujansky; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Coltin and Tyler. A 1944 graduate of Somerset Area High School and a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Member of the American Legion Post 181 and the VFW Post 554, both of Somerset. A 50-year member of the F.& A.M., Somerset, Lodge 358, the Pittsburgh Consistory, and the Jaffa Shrine of Altoona. Retired general manager of Walters Tire Service in Somerset. Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. He was an avid antique collector and a member of the Still Bank Collector's Club of America. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Glenn Sadler officiating.
