Suchian, 74, Somerset, died March 13, 1996, at the VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh. Born Sept. 7, 1921, in Fairpoint, Ohio, son of the late Jacob Suchian and Catherine (Shelko) Lasut. Preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Suchian; son, Edward John, and a brother, John Lawsut [sic?]. Survived by daughters: Mrs. Robert (Barbara) St. Clair, Gray; Mrs. Raymond (Deborah) Beeman, Somerset, and Paula Suchian, Somerset; grandchildren: Jill, Holly and Mandi St. Clair, and Jennifer and Jason Beeman. Brother of Madeline Mauger, Cairnbrook; Marie Thomas, Oakland, Calif.; Rudy and Paul Lasut, Cairnbrook; Stanley Lasut, Central City; Thomas Lasut, Windber, and Frank Lasut, Clinton, Md. World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. Friends were received Friday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. today at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Somerset, Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli celebrant. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown.
