Suder, 71, of Confluence, died Sept. 7, 1998 at Somerset Hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1927, in Confluence, a daughter of the late Ralph and Thelma (Kreger) Glover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jack E. Suder; two sons, Todd and David, both of Confluence; two daughters, Paige Harteis, of Bruceton Mills, W. Va., and Leslie Rugg, of Confluence; also eight grandchildren. She was a member of the Confluence Ambulance Service and served as its dispatcher for 24 years. Also a member of Confluence Fire Ladies Auxiliary, Turkeyfoot Baptist Church and Somerset Chapter 138 O.E.S. Along with husband she owned and operated Suder's Soft Freeze for 43 years. Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, with the Rev. Paul Werner and the Rev. James Smiley officiating. Interment, Jersey Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions to Confluence Ambulance Service or the Chris Metheney Cancer Fund in care of First Philson Bank, Confluence. Daily American, September 8, 1998 [S3294]
