Sullivan died at his home on Windsor Street, Pittsburgh, very suddenly on Monday morning, April 4th, at 5:30 a.m. He had been well until the evening previous to his death, when he complained of being slightly ill. His wife wakening the next morning and calling him, found him breathing his last. Calvin P. Sullivan was born in Confluence 69 years ago, and lived until young manhood in this district. He was well known and respected among the older people of this vicinity. He is survived by his wife and the following brothers and sisters: James Sullivan, Wilmerding; R. L. Sullivan, near Markleysburg; Oscar Sullivan, East McKeesport; Charles Sullivan, Wilmerding; Albert Sullivan, Steubenville, Ohio; Scott Sullivan, Wilmerding; Thomas Sullivan, East McKeesport; Miss Ella Sullivan, McKeesport, and Miss Mary Sullivan, Pittsburgh. His mother, Mrs. Anna C. Sullivan, one of the old and respected citizens of Confluence for many years, preceded him to the grave February 12, 1927. Funeral services were held at the family home on Windsor Street, Pittsburgh, on Thursday, April 7th, at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Dailey officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
