Born Nov. 9, 1923 in Black Township, Somerset County, daughter of the late Simon William and Ellen Hattie (Resh) Atchison. Preceded in death by three brothers: Clyde, Edward and James Atchison, and two sisters, Fern Humbert and Bessie Brocht. Survived by husband, John Robert Sullivan and these children: John R. Sullivan Jr., Somerset RD 4; Mrs. Larry A. (Nola) Bittner, Pequea; Michael L. Sullivan, Meyersdale; Daniel E. Sullivan, Conestoga; Martin E. Sullivan, Wooster, Ohio; Mrs. Ronnie D. (Noreen) Harrison, Berlin RD 3; Allen D. Sullivan, Stoystown RD 3; Mrs. Nila Mort, Stoystown RD 3; and Mrs. Rosella Kay Smith, Somerset RD 5; also 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of George W. Atchison, Rockwood, and Mrs. Basil (Iva) Thacker, Smithfield, Ark. Member of Shanksville United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Douglas E. Burns officiating.
