  MILDRED L. SUMMERS
  
    Mrs. Mildred L. Summers, 70, Somerset, died Oct. 29, 1995, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born April 11, 1925, in Johnstown, daughter of
  the late Frank and Verle (Carmany) Helsel.  Also preceded in death by
  husband, Arthur R., who died Aug. 11, 1972; son Larry; brothers:
  Frank, Robert, William, Durward, Jack and David.  Survived by these
  children: Garry, married to the former Eileen DeWolfe, Wilmington,
  Del.; Judith, wife of Cloyd Bittner, Warren, Ohio; Penny, wife of
  Edward Reedy, Austintown, Ohio; Douglas, married to the former Carol
  Wilt, Sipesville; also survived by eight grandchildren and two
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of: Virginia Caltabach, Dorothy Cassidy,
  Marion Bash, all of Richland Township, and Lois Strayer, Lewes, Del. 
  Member of the auxiliary to Somerset VFW and the Somerset American
  Legion and Chamber of Commerce.  Owner of A. & M. Ceramics, Somerset;
  certified ceramist.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Tuesday at Henderson-Ketterer Funeral Home, Geistown, where funeral
  service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Ronald B.
  Reed officiating.  Interment, Richland Cemetery.
