She was born April 7, 1938 in Elk Lick Township, a daughter of the late Daniel and Lydia (Kinsinger) Kinsinger. Preceded in death by a great grandson. Survived by her husband, Alvin Summy and these children: Mary Emma Beachy, and Menno Summy, both of Meyersdale; and Elva Brenneman, Vevay, IN; 18 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. She was the sister of: Noah Kinsinger and Jonas Kinsinger, both of Oakland, MD; Sarah, wife of Noah Summy, Mt. Vernon, MO; Fannie, wife of Yost Beachy, Meyersdale. Alvin and Ida operated Summy's Greenhouse in Summit Mills. The funeral service was Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the Summit Mills Amish Church with Bishop Albert Brenneman in charge. Interment in the Summit Mills Amish Cemetery, under the direction of M. Ray Leckemy Funeral Home.
