  SUMMY
  
    Peat Y. Summy, 75, of Meyersdale RD 1, was dead on arrival Nov. 12,
  1989, at Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 6, 1914, in
  Meyersdale, son of the late Yost and Emma (Kinsinger) Summy.  He is
  survived by his widow, Effie Hochstetler, and these children: Noah
  P., Meyersdale RD 3; Perry, Winnsboro, Texas; Miss Sadie Summy and
  Marian, wife of Ernest Slabaugh, both of Meyersdale RD 1; 10
  grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by four
  sisters: Mrs. Henry Swartzentruber, Oakland, Md.; Mrs. Milton Beachy,
  Mrs. Katie Beachy and Miss Nancy Summy, all of Meyersdale RD 1.  He
  was preceded in death by brother, John.  Friends will be received at
  the late home after 10 a.m. Monday.  Service will be held at 9:30
  a.m. Wednesday in the Summit Mills Old Order Amish Church, with
  Bishop Wilmer Yoder.  Interment, church cemetery.  Arrangements by
  Leckemby Funeral Home.
