  SUPANICK
  
    Jacob Supanick Sr., 86, of Beam Church Road, Boswell RD, died June
  26, 2001, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born July 9, 1914,
  in Acosta, son of Frank and Mary (Lucincic) Supanick.  Preceded in
  death by parents; wife of 53 years, the former Dorothy E. Howard,
  Sept. 18, 1987; son, Jacob Jr., 1995; two infant sisters, an infant
  brother, sister, Julia LaSapio, brother, John, one granddaughter and
  one great-granddaughter.  Survived by these children: Frank, married
  to Kathleen Walker, Gray; Ray Edward, married to Barbara Stevens,
  Boswell RD, Mary, wife of Ray Digman, Woodbine, Md., and Clara, wife
  of Vernon "Buddy" Yoder, Somerset RD, 14 grandchildren, 20
  great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Patty Supanick, Washington,
  D.C.  Brother of Sophia Gerber, Montross, Va., and August "Gus,"
  married to Hope Walker, Pittsburgh.  Member of the Sipesville Church
  of the Brethren and the Jenner Rod and Gun Club.  Had attended the
  Sipesville Senior Citizens.  Retired trim carpenter for Ryan Homes
  with over 30 years service.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Main Street, Boswell.  Viewing also from 10 a.m. until the time
  of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sipesville Church of the
  Brethren.  The Rev. Danny Bailey officiating.  Interment, Sipesville
  Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to the Sipesville Church of the
  Brethren, Box 207, Sipesville, Pa., 15561.
