Susser, 89, Meyersdale RD 1, died May 15, 1985, Meyersdale Community Hospital. He was a son of Harry and Esther (Fosburg) Susser and was born in Vienna, Austria. He is survived by his widow, Zelma; two daughters: Janet Susser, Meyersdale RD 1; and Nancy Hamilton, Pittsburgh. He was a member of American Legion Post 112, Meyersdale, for 60 years; member of Masonic Lodge, Meyersdale; Jaffa Shrine, Altoona, where he was a past Potentate Ambassador; past president of Somerset Shrine Club; past president Meyersdale Rotary club; past secretary of Meyersdale school board; and charter member and past secretary of Laurel Falls Association. He was one of the first volunteers to help raise money for Meyersdale Community Hospital. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Meyersdale Public Library or Meyersdale Community Hospital. Services under the direction of the Leckemby Funeral Home.
