Suter, 75, of Somerset RD 3, died Sept. 4, 1989 in West Penn Hospital Pittsburgh. Born May 27, 1914 in Jefferson Township, son of the late David and Matilda (Miller) Suter. Preceded in death by parents, three sisters and one brother. Survived by wife, Maymie (Oaks) and these brothers and sisters; Clyde, Somerset RD 3; Bessie Miller, Berlin; Devona Bracken, Central City; Betty Rigsby, Jacksonville, Fla. Veteran of W.W.II, U.S. Air Force. Member of Somerset Post 554 V.F.W.; Somerset American Legion, F.O.E. 1801 Somerset and Kingston Sportsman. Death terminates a marriage union of 46 1/2 years. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Funeral services Thursday, 1:30 p.m. in the Edie United Methodist Church, the Rev. Donald Krestar officiating. Interment Church Cemetery.
