Born May 3, 1905, in Bedford County, a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Amick) Suter. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Melda (Will) in 1931; sister, Helen Roberts; brother, Fred; and grandson, Jeffrey Suter. Survived by wife, Blanche (Landis); and these children: Mrs. Robert (Mary) Gnagey, Hermitage; Harvey, married to the former Nancy Bittner; James, married to the former Corley Johnson; Karl, married to the former Judith Cook, all of Somerset; Mrs. Harold (Shirley) Weigle, Fairfax, Va.; and Mrs. Edward (Darlene) Baumgardner Jr., Friedens; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Vera Suter, Warren, Ohio. Former owner and operator of Suter Soft Drink Distributor for 32 years. Member of F.O.E. 1801, Somerset; Appalachian Wagon Train Association; Somerset County Saddle Club. His death terminates a marriage union of 54 years. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Robert H.
