LEWIS H. SUTER

  Lewis H. Suter, a former resident of Somerset County, died May 1 at his home 
in Salem, Oregon.  He was born in Shade Township 80 years ago.  When a young man 
he went to Nebraska where he taught school for several years and served two 
terms in the Nebraska Legislature.  While a resident of Oregon he was active in 
politics.  He is survived by his wife, a son and three daughters.
