FURNAN SUTLIFFE

  Furnan Sutliffe, aged 64, father of Postmaster Oscar O. Sutliffe, of Somerset, 
died last Friday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George 
Gephart, of Media, Pa.  He formerly resided in Somerset, and was in charge of 
the marble work during the erection of the Somerset Courthouse.  Surviving are 
his wife and these children:  Oscar O. Sutliffe, Postmaster of Somerset; Furnan 
Sutliffe, Jr., and Mrs. George Gephart, both of Media, and Arden Sutliffe, of 
Tennessee.  Postmaster Sutliffe went to Media to attend the funeral, which was 
held on Sunday afternoon.
