  Mrs. Helen M. Svonavec, 84, Friedens RD 1, died Oct. 23, 1984, at her
  residence.  Born Jan. 26, 1900, in Czechoslovakia, daughter of the
  late Kasmier and Mary (Schlota) Bator.  Also preceded in death by one
  brother and two sisters.  Survived by her husband, Steve; and these
  children: Mrs. John (Helen) Zborovancik, Friedens RD 1; Steve,
  Somerset RD 7; Mrs. Mary Jane Vanaller, Stoystown RD 3; Mrs. Dean
  (Agnes) Hay, Rockwood RD 3; Joseph, Rockwood RD 2; Donald, Listie;
  Mrs. Michael (Margaret) Knapp, Central City RD 1; Mrs. William
  (Elizabeth) Aust Jr., Friedens RD 1; John J., Somerset RD 4; Mrs.
  Terry (Dorothy) Steinkirchner, Listie; 48 grandchildren and 32
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Anna Matse, Stoystown RD 2. 
  Member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Listie.  Friends will be
  received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
  Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Samuel
  Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Listie Cemetery.  The rosary will
  be recited at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
