  SWALLOW
  
  Francis H. Swallow, 72, Central City RD 1, died Dec. 23, 1985, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 16, 1913, in Johnstown, he
  was a son of the late Cecil and Emma (Berkebile) Swallow.  Preceded
  in death by daughter, Marilyn; stepfather, A. Glenn Ling; and sister,
  Vivian Hughes-Ken.  Survived by his wife, the former Emma Zwick, whom
  he married May 15, 1940, and these children: Raymond, married to
  Becky Ringler, and Curtis, married to Lucille Eshelman, both of
  Central City RD 1; Mrs. Kenneth (Ruth) Landis, Strasburg; and
  William, Bellefonte; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and
  one step-great-grandson.  He was a brother of Mrs. Emil (Betty)
  Koontz, Central City RD 1.  He was a retired Shade Township farmer,
  member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Buckstown, and Bald Knob Rifle
  and Pistol Club.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday
  and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. George E.
  Bowersox Jr.  Interment, Buckstown Cemetery.
