Born Sept. 26, 1943, the daughter of Floyd P. and Frances (Reese) Defelice. Survived by father Floyd P. Defelice, Acosta; husband Keith M. Swank whom she married July 31, 1965, two sons Brian Swank, Portage, and Aaron Swank, Columbia, Md., and two grandchildren. Retired school teacher from 1965-1969 in Butler Area School District and substitute teacher at South Butler (Knoch) for 12 years, real estate agent for 14 years with Century 21 and four years with Northwood Realty. Member of Hill United Presbyterian Church. An alumni of IUP with a BS in elementary education and a MS in education. She was a holder of a real estate license and a broker's license. Active in her church where she had been a deacon, elder and Sunday school teacher and a member of the Women's Circle. Avid aerobic swimmer at the YMCA. Enjoyed spending time at the ocean, reading and crocheting. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the Hill United Presbyterian Church where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Clark T. Sawyer officiating. Interment Butler County Memorial Park, Butler. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Carol Swank Youth Educational Fund c/o Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second, St., Butler, Pa. 16001.
