  SWANK
  
  Irene Margaret Swank, 89, Somerset, died Aug. 1, 2003, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Sept. 27, 1913, in Lincoln Township, a daughter of
  Ira Welsh and Emma Bell (Friedline) Shaulis.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Wesley Albright Swank, who died June 26, 2003; son,
  Harry E. Swank; sister, Ethel M. Shaulis; and brothers, Clark I. and
  Elwood R. Shaulis.  Survived by children, Mrs. Frank J. (Margaret)
  Stevenson of Hubbard, Ohio, and Ray W. Swank of Somerset; one
  daughter-in-law, Linda B. Swank of Somerset; eight grandchildren;
  eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.  Sister
  of Clyde Shaulis and wife Ethel, Mrs. Gladys F. Bittner and Mrs.
  Ernest (Marion) Dunmyer, all of Somerset and Mrs. Charles (Sarah)
  Matkoskey of Youngstown, Ohio.  Member of St. John's United Methodist
  Church, Edie, and Sipesville Senior Citizens.  Friends will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral
  Home, Somerset.  Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday,
  at St. John's United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Barry K.
  Ritenour officiating.  Interment will be in Casebeer Cemetery. 
  Contributions may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, P.O.
  Box 165, Sipesville, Pa., 15561.  No viewing at the church.
