  SWANK, John A.
  
  John A. Swank, 80, Somerset, died Aug 28, 1986, at Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born April 15, 1906, in Somerset Township, son of the late
  Edward and Fannie (Sumpstine) Swank.  Also preceded in death by three
  sisters, one brother, and a son, John C. Swank.  Survived by his wife
  the former Mary Catherine Metzler, to whom he was married for 58
  years.  Also survived by these children: Robert J., Somerset; Mrs.
  James M. (Lois A.) Stuart, Oxon Hill, Md.; Keith M., Butler; and Mrs.
  Sandra J. Sunseri, Arlington Heights, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and 5
  great-grandchildren.  Member of the First United Methodist Church of
  Somerset, I.O.O.F. Somerset, Trinity Fellowship and past-caretaker
  and treasurer of St. John's Cemetery.  Friends received from 2-9 p.m.
  Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be held
  Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Arthur Gotjen and the Rev. Elias
  Kessler officiating.  Interment, St. Johns Cemetery.
