  SWARNER
  
    Marcella P. Swarner, 87, Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin,
  formerly of Somerset, died April 8, 1999, at the center.  Born May
  17, 1911, in Kimmelton, daughter of Calvin and Elizabeth (Boyer)
  Smith.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Albert; daughters,
  Betty Swarner and Faye Matkoskey; brothers: Homer, Bruce, and Paul;
  and sisters: Armetta, Rita and Faye Long.  Survived by daughter,
  Frela Dove, Glen Rock, Pa., and son, Robert Swaner, Somerset; sister,
  Beatrice Rice, York; and numerous grandchildren and great
  grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 12 until 2 p.m. Sunday
  at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset with service to follow with the Rev.
  Ralph Landis officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
